“Gods and Generals – Extended Directors Cut” to be Screened June 16th in Hagerstown
Movie Hosted by Sons of Confederate Veterans; Tickets Going Fast!
(Hagerstown, MD) – The Sons of Confederate Veterans has announced that the movie “Gods and Generals” will be shown at the Bridge of Life Center, at 14 South Potomac Street, on Saturday June 16. The show time will be at 4pm (doors open at 3:30pm). Tickets cost $10.
The Battle of Sharpsburg Camp #1582, Sons of Confederate Veterans is presenting and hosting the movie. Tickets are on sale at the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitor Welcome Center at 6 North Potomac Street (301-791-3246), or also can be purchased at the door.
This epic Civil War movie features scenes from the Battle of Antietam, which were not included in the original film version. Also, June 16 and 17 is the big First Call Civil War Weekend in Hagerstown! Continue Sesquicentennial Commemorations, and take in this historically accurate Civil War film! The Sons of Confederate Veterans is the direct heir of the United Confederate Veterans, and the oldest hereditary organization for male descendants of Confederate soldiers.
